BIO:
IN A LAND WHERE A HERO WAS NOT ENOUGH
WHERE A BAND WAS NEEDED TO TRULY MAKE A MARK
ONE MAN
WAS NEITHER
Greetings, y'all. I'm LoopyChew, plastic guitarist and drummer of little reknown, retired Anime Music Video creator and hobbyist MIDI Sequencer. That last bit is something I'm taking out of mothballs and planning on putting to good use with
MGA, and I'll be damned if I don't give it my all. You can go looking for my MIDI sequences if you want, but remember that they were meant to be played on FM synths back then and so don't sound very good nowadays. Probably didn't sound too good back then, either. My AMVs have stood the test of time a little bit better.
In the times when I'm not working, I'm actually a vocalist more than anything else, although I've got the requisite music experience: I played piano between the ages of 4 and 9, and competitively when I was 7 (never placed in the top three, but I was really high up there against people twice my age). I then took up violin for a few years, and there was that brief fling with the trumpet that ended in heartbreak, and then there I was dabbling on my Dean Edge-One and my dad's Epiphone acoustic.
It is my aim to provide MGA and the musicians with the most faithful and entertaining charting I can muster, the forums with as quirky and sarcastic a voice as I can, and myself with new bands to listen to on a daily basis. And I have to say I eagerly look forward to all three.
