When we were first contacted by this group and saw their band name, an image came to mind as Im sure will yours... An image of Leonard Nimoy as Spock from Star Trek from the episode Mirror Mirror.. and his evil van dyke beard. The truth of this band is that they rock and are in no way evil unless you call superior musicianship and fabulous vocals "evil" I sure don't, I call these guys one of my new favorite bands.

The band is comprised of Dave Meros on Bass, Bass Pedals, French Horn, Keyboards, Vocals, Nick D'Virgilio on Lead Vocals, Drums, Percussion, Guitar, Bass, Ryo Okumoto on Keyboards, Vocals and Alan Morse on Guitar, Theremin, Saw, Cello, Vocals.

With 9 CD's to date and their 10th SBX due out early 2010 this band is prolific. Of the 3 CDs they submitted we had a hard time choosing which tracks would be the most fun to play in Rock Band and it was truly a hard decision. Spock's Beard has toured all over the world including: Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, London, France, Austria and Hungary as well concerts all over the US. You would be hard pressed to find a harder working prog rock band with the level of expertise than Spock's Beard
